महोदरवधः
The Slaying of Mahodara
ततोजग्राहतेजस्वीसुग्रीवोवसुधातलात् ।आयसंमुसलंघोरंसर्वतोहेमभूषितम् ।।6.98.23।।
tato jagrāha tejasvī sugrīvo vasudhā-talāt |
āyasaṁ musalaṁ ghoraṁ sarvato hema-bhūṣitam ||6.98.23||
ನಂತರ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿಯಾದ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನು ವಸುದಾತಲದಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಚಿನ್ನದಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಭೀಕರವಾದ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಮುಸಳವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡನು.
In that terrible conflict, seeing the mace broken and falling, mighty Sugriva, whose eyes turned red in anger, lifted up his iron bar, struck at the mace of the Rakshasa. The mace fell on the ground and broke into pieces.
