Sarga 95: Lamentation in Laṅkā and the Causal Chain of Enmity
जघानबलिनंरामस्सहस्रनयनात्मजम् ।वालिनंमेरुसङ्काशंपर्याप्तंतन्निदर्शनम् ।।।।
jaghāna balinaṁ rāmaḥ sahasranayanātmajam |
vālinaṁ merusaṅkāśaṁ paryāptaṁ tannidarśanam ||6.95.17||
ಬಲಶಾಲಿ ರಾಮನು ಸಹಸ್ರನಯನ (ಇಂದ್ರ)ನ ಪುತ್ರ ವಾಲಿಯನ್ನು, ಮೇರುವಿನಂತೆ ಮಹತ್ತನನ್ನು, ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು; ಅದೇ ಪರ್ಯಾಪ್ತ ನಿದರ್ಶನ.
"Mighty Rama killed the son of thousand eyed Indra, Vali, who resembled mountain Meru. That example is sufficient proof."
