एकैकंराक्षसंसङ्ख्येशतंवानरपुङ्गवाः ।अभ्यधावन्तफलिनंवृक्षंशकुनयोयथा ।।।।
ekaikaṃ rākṣasaṃ saṅkhye śataṃ vānarapuṅgavāḥ |
abhyadhāvanta phalinaṃ vṛkṣaṃ śakunayo yathā ||
ಸಮರಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾನರಪುಂಗವರ ನೂರಾರು ಮಂದಿ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬ ರಾಕ್ಷಸನ ಮೇಲೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿದರು—ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ಮರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಎರಗುವಂತೆ.
