vividham amalaśastrabhāsvaraṁ tad dhvajagahanaṁ vipulaṁ mahārathaiś ca | pratibhayatamaṁ aprameyavegaṁ timiram iva dviṣatāṁ balaṁ viveśa || 6.85.36 ||

ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನು ಶತ್ರುಸೈನ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದನು—ವಿಶಾಲವಾದುದು, ಧ್ವಜಗಳಿಂದ ಕಂಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು, ನಿರ್ಮಲ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಗಳ ಕಿರಣದಿಂದ ದೀಪ್ತವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಾರಥಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರುವುದು—ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಂಕರ, ವೇಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪ್ರಮೇಯ; ಅಂಧಕಾರದ ಘನರಾಶಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವವನಂತೆ.
