अतिकायवधश्रवणं रावणस्य लङ्कारक्षाविधानम्

स तान् सर्वान् हिसन्दिश्यरावणोराक्षसाधिपः ।मन्युशल्यंवहन् दीनःप्रविवेशस्वमालयम् ।।।।
sa tān sarvān hi sandiśya rāvaṇo rākṣasādhipaḥ | manyuśalyaṃ vahan dīnaḥ praviveśa svam ālayam ||
ಹೀಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ, ರಾಕ್ಷಸಾಧಿಪತಿ ರಾವಣನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿನೊಳಗೆ ಕ್ರೋಧದ ಮುಳ್ಳಿನಂತೆ ನೋವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತು ದೀನನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಅರಮನೆಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದನು.
