tac chiraḥ sa-śirastrāṇaṁ lakṣmaṇeṣu prapīḍitam |

ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನ ಶರಗಳಿಂದ ಒತ್ತಡಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾದ ಆ ಶಿರಸ್ಸು—ಶಿರಸ್ತ್ರಾಣসহಿತ—ಹಿಮವಂತನ ಶಿಖರದಂತೆ ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿತು.
