ततश्शरौघेरभिवर्ष्यमाणोविभिन्नगात्रःकपिसैन्यपालः ।नीलोबभूवाथविसृष्टगात्रोविष्टम्भितस्तेनमहाबलेन ।।।।
tataḥ śaraughair abhivarṣyamāṇo vibhinna-gātraḥ kapisainyapālaḥ |
nīlo babhūvātha visṛṣṭagātro viṣṭambhitas tena mahābalena ||
ನಂತರ ಶರಗಳ ಪ್ರವಾಹದಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆಯೂ ಮಳೆಯಂತೆ ಆವರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ಅಂಗಾಂಗಗಳು ಭೇದಿತವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕಪಿಸೈನ್ಯದ ನಾಯಕ ನೀಲನು ಕಂಪಿತನಾಗಿ ಶಿಥಿಲಾಂಗನಾದನು; ಆ ಮಹಾಬಲಿಯ ಆಕ್ರಮಣದಿಂದ ಅವನ ಚಲನೆ ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
