बभूवथपरित्रस्तोराक्षसोविमुखोऽभवत् ।सिंहनादं च तेचक्रुःप्रहृष्टावनगोचराः ।।।।मारुतिंपूजयाञ्चक्रुर्दृष्टवाशूलंतथागतम् ।
babhūvātha paritrasto rākṣaso vimukho 'bhavat | siṃhanādaṃ ca te cakruḥ prahṛṣṭā vanagocarāḥ || mārutiṃ pūjayāṃ cakrur dṛṣṭvā śūlaṃ tathāgatam ||
ಆಗ ರಾಕ್ಷಸನು ಭೀತನಾಗಿ ಹಿಂಜರಿದು ಮುಖ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದನು. ಹರ್ಷಿತ ವನಚರ ವಾನರರು ಸಿಂಹನಾದ ಮಾಡಿದರು; ಶೂಲ ಹೀಗೆ ಮುರಿದುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಮಾರುತಿಯನ್ನು (ಹನುಮಂತನನ್ನು) ಪೂಜಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು.
