अन्येभेरीस्समाजघ्नुरन्येचक्रुर्महास्वनम् ।।।।केशानन्येप्रलुलुपुःकर्णावन्येदशन्तिच ।
anye bherīḥ samājaghnur anye cakrur mahāsvanam |
keśān anye pralulupuḥ karṇāv anye daśanti ca ||
ಕೆಲವರು ಭೇರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾರಿಸಿದರು, ಕೆಲವರು ಮಹಾನಾದ ಮಾಡಿದರು; ಕೆಲವರು ಅವನ ಕೂದಲನ್ನು ಎಳೆದರು, ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವರು ಅವನ ಕಿವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ಕಚ್ಚಿದರು.
