तंविह्वलन्तंप्रसमीक्ष्यरामस्समाददेदीप्तमथार्थचन्द्रम् ।तेनार्कवर्णंसहसाकिरीटंचिच्छेदरक्षोधिपतेर्महात्मा ।।6.59.140।।
taṁ vihvalantaṁ prasamīkṣya rāmaḥ samādade dīptam athārthacandram |
tenārkavarṇaṁ sahasā kirīṭaṁ ciccheda rakṣodhipater mahātmā ||6.59.140||
ರಾಕ್ಷಸಾಧಿಪತಿ ವಿಹ್ವಲನಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ರಾಮನು ದೀಪ್ತವಾದ ಅರ್ಧಚಂದ್ರಾಕಾರದ ಬಾಣವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದನು; ಅದರಿಂದ ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂರ್ಯವರ್ಣ ಕಿರಣಗಳಂತೆ ಹೊಳೆಯುವ ಅವನ ಕಿರೀಟವನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿದನು.
