bhṛśam āveśayāmāsa rāvaṇiḥ samitiṃjayaḥ ||6.45.7||

ಸಮರದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಯಶಾಲಿಯಾದ ರಾವಣಿ, ರಾಮಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣರ ದೇಹಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ವದೇಹಭೇದಕ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮರುಮರು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಬಲದಿಂದ ನಾಟಿದನು.
