श्रीस्त्वांभजतिशोकघ्नीरक्षसांभयमागतम् ।रामःकमलपत्राक्षोदैत्यानामिववासवः ।।।।निर्जित्यजितक्रोधस्त्वामचिन्तपराक्रमः ।रावणंसमरेहत्वाभर्तात्वाऽधिगमिष्यति ।।।।

Transliteration

śrīs tvāṃ bhajati śokaghnī rakṣasāṃ bhayam āgatam |

rāmaḥ kamalapatrākṣo daityānām iva vāsavaḥ |

nirjitya jitakrodhas tvām acintaparākramaḥ |

rāvaṇaṃ samare hatvā bhartā tvām adhigamiṣyati ||

Translation

ಶೋಕವನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ಶ್ರೀ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸುವಳು, ರಾಕ್ಷಸರಿಗೆ ಭಯ ಆವರಿಸುವುದು. ಕಮಲಪತ್ರಾಕ್ಷ ರಾಮನು—ದೈತ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ವಾಸವ (ಇಂದ್ರ)ನಂತೆ—ಕ್ರೋಧವನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಿ, ಅಚಿಂತ್ಯ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಸಮರದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾವಣನನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ನಿನ್ನ ಭರ್ತೃ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮರಳಿ ಅಧಿಗಮಿಸುವನು.
