राक्षसाश्चयथास्निग्धारावणस्यचतेजसा ।परांसमृद्धिंलङ्कायास्सागरस्यचभीमताम् ।।।।विभागंचबलौघस्यनिर्देशंवाहनस्यच ।एवमुक्त्वाकपिश्रेष्ठःकथयामासतत्त्ववित: ।।।।
rākṣasāś ca yathā snigdhā rāvaṇasya ca tejasā |
parāṃ samṛddhiṃ laṅkāyāḥ sāgarasya ca bhīmatām ||6.3.8||
(ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವೆನು) ರಾವಣನ ತೇಜಸ್ಸಿನ ಪ್ರಭಾವದಿಂದ ರಾಕ್ಷಸರು ಹೇಗೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ನಿಷ್ಠರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಲಂಕೆಯ ಪರಮ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಹೇಗಿದೆ, ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಗರದ ಭೀಕರ ಸ್ವರೂಪ ಹೇಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು.
