ज्येष्ठःकेसरिणःपुत्त्रोवातात्मजइतिश्रुतः ।हनूमानितिविख्यातोलङ्घितोयेनसागरः ।।6.28.10।।

Transliteration

jyeṣṭhaḥ kesariṇaḥ putro vātātmaja iti śrutaḥ |

hanūmān iti vikhyāto laṅghito yena sāgaraḥ ||6.28.10||

Translation

ಅವನು ಕೇಸರಿಯ ಜ್ಯೇಷ್ಠ ಪುತ್ರನೆಂದು, ವಾಯುದೇವನ ಆತ್ಮಜನೆಂದು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ; ಹನುಮಾನ್ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಲೋಕವಿಖ್ಯಾತ, ಅವನೇ ಸಾಗರವನ್ನು ಲಂಘಿಸಿದವನು.
