अहंसेतुंकरिष्यामिविस्तीर्णेवरुणालये ।पितुस्सामर्थ्यमास्थायतत्त्वमहामहोदधिः ।।6.22.47।।

Transliteration

ahaṃ setuṃ kariṣyāmi vistīrṇe varuṇālaye | pituḥ sāmarthyam āsthāya tattvam āha mahodadhiḥ ||

Translation

“ವರುಣದೇವನ ವಿಶಾಲ ನಿವಾಸವಾದ ಈ ಮಹಾಸಾಗರದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಸೇತುವೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವೆನು; ತಂದೆಯ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿ”—ಎಂದು ನಲನು ತನ್ನ ನಿಜ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದನು.
