लङ्घनार्थंचघोरस्यसमुद्रस्यनदींपतेः ।सहास्माभिरिहोपेतस्सूक्ष्मबुद्धिर्विचारय ।।।।
laṅghanārthaṃ ca ghorasya samudrasya nadīṃpateḥ | sahāsmābhir ihopetaḥ sūkṣmabuddhir vicāraya ||
ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮಬುದ್ಧಿಯವನೇ, ನಮ್ಮೊಡನೆ ಈಗ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, ನದಿಗಳ ಪತಿಯಾದ ಈ ಘೋರ ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ದಾಟುವ ಉಪಾಯವನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸು.
"Of what use is speaking many words. By all means you will be victorious. I see signs of it and feel highly delighted in my mind."।।ityārṣēvālmīkīyēśrīmadrāmāyaṇēādikāvyēyuddhakāṇḍēdvitīyassargaḥ।।This is the end of the second Sarga of Yuddha Kanda of the first epic,the holy Ramayana composed by sage Valmiki.
Dharma includes wise deliberation: righteous ends should be pursued through thoughtful means, guided by capable counsel.
The leaders assemble to plan how the army will cross the ocean to reach Laṅkā.
Prājñatā (practical wisdom): subtle intelligence applied to collective decision-making.
