सुग्रीस्त्वथतद्वाक्यमाभाष्यचविमृश्यच ।ततश्शुभतरंवाक्यमुवाचहरिपुङ्गवः ।।।।

Transliteration

sugrīvas tv atha tad vākyaṃ ābhāṣya ca vimṛśya ca | tataḥ śubhataraṃ vākyaṃ uvāca haripuṅgavaḥ ||

Translation

ನಂತರ ವಾನರಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನಾದ ಸುಗ್ರೀವನು ಆ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ವಿಮರ್ಶಿಸಿ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಶುಭಕರವಾದ ವಚನವನ್ನು ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದನು.
