मुमोच ह दशग्रीवोनिःसङ्गेनान्तरात्मना ।।6.109.21।।व्यायच्छमानंतंदृष्टवासत्वरमरावणंरणे ।प्रहसन्निवकाकुत्स्थसन्दधेनिशितान्शरान् ।।6.109.22।।स मुमो च ततोबाणान्शतशोऽथसहस्रशः ।

ಆಗ ದಶಗ್ರೀವನು ನಿರ್ಬಂಧವಿಲ್ಲದ ಅಂತರಾತ್ಮದಿಂದ, ಹಿಂಜರಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ತನ್ನ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನು.
Seeing the ten headed Ravana releasing arrows with enthusiasm, not thinking of anything in his mind, quickly Kakuthsa laughed at them, fixed pointed arrows, and released hundreds and thousands.
A warning by contrast: power used without inner restraint tends toward adharma; true dharma requires self-governance even in conflict.
Rāvaṇa continues the duel by releasing arrows in an unrestrained manner.
By implication, the virtue highlighted is self-control; Rāvaṇa’s lack of restraint foreshadows his moral and strategic downfall.
