सप्तचत्वारिंशः सर्गः — वानरयूथपानां अन्वेषणवृत्तान्तनिवेदनम्

गहनेषु च देशेषु दुर्गेषु विषमेषु च।सत्त्वान्यतिप्रमाणानि विचितानि हतानि च।।4.47.13।।ये चैव गहना देशा विचितास्ते पुनः पुनः।
gahaneṣu ca deśeṣu durgeṣu viṣameṣu ca |
sattvāny atipramāṇāni vicitāni hatāni ca || 4.47.13 ||
ye caiva gahanā deśā vicitās te punaḥ punaḥ |
ಘನ ಅರಣ್ಯಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ದುರ್ಗಮ ದುರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಷಮ ಭೂಮಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಶೋಧಿಸಿದರು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದವು—ಹುಡುಕಿ ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಿ ಕೆಲವನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಲೂ ಆಯಿತು. ಆ ದುಸ್ತರ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಪುನಃ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
