Sugriva on Surveying the Earth’s Regions
द्रुमशैलांस्ततः पश्यन्भूयो दक्षिणतोऽपराम्।पश्चिमां च दिशं प्राप्ता वालिना समभिद्रुतः।।।।
drumaśailāṁs tataḥ paśyan bhūyo dakṣiṇato 'parām |
paścimāṁ ca diśaṁ prāpto vālinā samabhidrutaḥ ||
ಅರಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪರ್ವತಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ, ನಾನು ಮತ್ತೆ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ; ವಾಲಿಯು ಇನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದನು.
