पूर्वदिशि सीतामार्गण-नियोगः
Deployment to the Eastern Quarter for the Search of Sita
एतावद्वानरैश्शक्यं गन्तुं वानरपुङ्गवाः।।4.40.67।।अभास्करममर्यादं न जानीमस्ततः परम्।
etāvadvānaraiś śakyaṃ gantuṃ vānarapuṅgavāḥ || 4.40.67 ||
abhāskaram amaryādaṃ na jānīmas tataḥ param |
ಹೇ ವಾನರಪುಂಗವರೆ, ಇಲ್ಲಿವರೆಗೆ ವಾನರರು ಹೋಗಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ; ಆದರೆ ಸೂರ್ಯಪ್ರಕಾಶವಿಲ್ಲದ, ಮಿತಿಯೇ ತಿಳಿಯದ ಆ ಭಾಗದ ಆಚೆಗೆ ಏನಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದು.
