वाच्यं यदनुरक्तेन स्निग्धेन च हितेन च।सत्यविक्रमयुक्तेन तदुक्तं लक्ष्मण त्वया4.27.42।।

Transliteration

vācyaṃ yad anuraktena snigdhena ca hitena ca |

satyavikramayuktena tad uktaṃ lakṣmaṇa tvayā || 4.27.42 ||

Translation

ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣನೇ, ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತು ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇ—ಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳ, ಸ್ನೇಹಪೂರ್ಣ, ಹಿತೈಷಿಯಾದವನಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುವಂತೆ, ಸತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾದ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಯುಕ್ತವಾದ ವಚನ.
