Vali’s Funeral Rites and the Consolation of the Bereaved

आदाय शिबिकां तारस्स तु पर्यापतत्पुनः।वानरैरुह्यमानां तां शूरैरुद्वहनोचितैः4.25.21।।

Transliteration

ādāya śibikāṃ tāraḥ sa tu paryāpatat punaḥ | vānarair uhyamānāṃ tāṃ śūrais udvahanocitaiḥ || 4.25.21 ||

Translation

ಶಿಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ತಾರೆಯು ಮತ್ತೆ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅದರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಧಾವಿಸಿದಳು; ಆ ಶಿಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಭಾರವಹಿಸಲು ಯೋಗ್ಯರಾದ ಶೂರ ವಾನರರು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
