FAQs

It describes a creative act: Brahmā creates a beautiful, pure-eyed female companion, and Hari (Viṣṇu) quickly manifests a lotus-eyed doe.

Such epithets are common Purāṇic markers of auspiciousness and purity—'spotless-eyed' and 'lotus-eyed' convey spiritual beauty, auspicious presence, and divine perfection.

Not directly as a moral instruction; it primarily advances the creation narrative, using auspicious imagery to frame the beings brought forth by Brahmā and Hari.
