क्षमयन्तं तु राजानं पाण्डव: प्रत्यभाषत । चिरं क्षान्तमिदं राजन न मन्युर्विद्यते मम
kṣamayantaṃ tu rājānaṃ pāṇḍavaḥ pratyabhāṣata | ciraṃ kṣāntam idaṃ rājan na manyur vidyate mama ||
ರಾಜನು ಕ್ಷಮೆ ಬೇಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಪಾಂಡವ ಯುಧಿಷ್ಠಿರನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ರಾಜನೇ! ಇದು ಬಹುಕಾಲದ ಹಿಂದೆಯೇ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ನಾನು ದೀರ್ಘಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಕ್ಷಮಾವ್ರತವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ನನಗೆ ذرವೂ ಕೋಪವಿಲ್ಲ.
