जूएकी आसस्तिने इन्हें राजलक्ष्मीके सिंहासनसे नीचे उतार दिया है और अब ये अपने उन कर्मोंका चिन्तन करते हुए अज्ञकी भाँति चुपचाप बैठे रहते हैं ।। दश नागसहस््राणि हयानां हेममालिनाम् । यं यान्तमनुयान्तीह सो<यं द्यूतेन जीवति
daśa nāgasahasrāṇi hayānāṃ hemamālinām | yaṃ yāntam anuyāntīha so 'yaṃ dyūtena jīvati ||
ಅವನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗುವಾಗ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಹಾರಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಕುದುರೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಆನೆಗಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು—ಅದೇ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಈಗ ಜೂಜಿನ ಫಲದಿಂದ ಬದುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
