Draupadī’s Lament and Indictment of Misfortune
यस्यां भीमस्तथा शेते मृगराज इव श्वसन् । वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--राजन्! ऐसा कहती हुई मनस्विनी द्रौपदीने उस भवनमें प्रवेश किया, जिसमें सिंहकी भाँति साँसें खींचते हुए भीमसेन सो रहे थे ।।
yasyāṃ bhīmas tathā śete mṛgarāja iva śvasan |
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಓ ರಾಜನೇ! ದೃಢಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ದ್ರೌಪದಿ ಆ ಗೃಹಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದಳು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಭೀಮಸೇನನು ಸಿಂಹದಂತೆ ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಉಸಿರಾಡುತ್ತ ನಿದ್ರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಅವಳ ದಿವ್ಯರೂಪದಿಂದ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಭೀಮನ ಆ ಮಹಾನಸಶಾಲೆ ಶೋಭಾ-ಸಂಪತ್ತಿನಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ತೇಜಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸಿತು; ಶುಚಿಸ್ಮಿತ ಪಾಂಚಾಲಿ ಅಡುಗೆಮನೆಗೆ ತಲುಪಿ ಭೀಮಸೇನನ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದಳು.
