तत् कर्म कृतवानद्य कथं निद्रां निषेवसे । वहाँ पहुँचते ही सैरन्ध्री बोली--आर्यपुत्र! मुझसे द्वेष रखनेवाले उस महापापी सेनापतिके
tat karma kṛtavān adya kathaṃ nidrāṃ niṣevase |
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತಲುಪುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆಯೇ ಸೈರಂಧ್ರೀ ಹೇಳಿದಳು—ಆರ್ಯಪುತ್ರ! ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ದ್ವೇಷವಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಆ ಮಹಾಪಾಪಿ ಸೇನಾಪತಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಂಥ ಅವಮಾನಕರವಾಗಿ ವರ್ತಿಸಿದವನು, ಇನ್ನೂ ಜೀವಂತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಹಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಇಂದು ಆ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ನೀನು ಹೇಗೆ ನಿದ್ರೆಗೆ ಶರಣಾಗುತ್ತೀ?
