धनुरारोपयामास सलील इव भारत । ज्याशब्दमकरोच्चैव स्मयमान: स वीर्यवान्‌,तब दशरथनन्दन श्रीरामजीने रोषपूर्वक परशुरामका वह वीर क्षत्रियोंका संहारक दिव्य धनुष उनके हाथसे ले लिया। भारत! उन्होंने लीलापूर्वक प्रत्यज्चा चढ़ा दी। तत्पश्चात्‌ पराक्रमी श्रीरामचन्द्रजीने मुसकराते हुए धनुषकी टंकार फैलायी

Transliteration

dhanur āropayāmāsa salīla iva bhārata | jyāśabdam akaroc caiva smayamānaḥ sa vīryavān ||

Translation

ಓ ಭಾರತ! ಆ ವೀರ್ಯವಂತ ರಾಮನು ಆಟದಂತೆ ಧನುಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಜ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಏರಿಸಿ, ನಗುತ್ತಾ ಉಚ್ಚವಾಗಿ ಜ್ಯಾಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.
