साड्रोपनिषदान् वेदाञ्जपन्निव महातपा: । तस्य पुत्रो5$भवदृषे: स तेजस्वी महाद्विज:,महर्षिका वह महातपस्वी और तेजस्वी पुत्र जन्म-कालसे ही अंग और उपनिषदोंसहित सम्पूर्ण वेदोंका स्वाध्याय-सा करता जान पड़ा। दृढस्यु ब्राह्मणोंमें महान् माने गये
sāṅgopaniṣadān vedān japann iva mahātapāḥ | tasya putro 'bhavad ṛṣeḥ sa tejasvī mahādvijaḥ |
ಆ ಮಹಾತಪಸ್ವಿ ಋಷಿಗೆ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿಯಾದ ಮಹಾದ್ವಿಜನಾದ ಪುತ್ರನು ಜನಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು ಜನ್ಮಕ್ಷಣದಿಂದಲೇ ಅಂಗಗಳೂ ಉಪನಿಷತ್ತುಗಳೂ ಸಹಿತ ವೇದಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರಂತರ ಜಪಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವವನಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

Lomaśa describes the birth and extraordinary nature of a seer’s son, emphasizing that the child seemed, from birth, to be engaged in Vedic recitation with the Upaniṣads and auxiliaries—establishing the character’s sanctity and authority for the story that follows.
