तत्र वृक्षतृणद्यैश्व सम्पन्न: फलमूलवान् | आश्रमो5गस्त्यशिष्यस्य पुण्यो देवसमो गिरि:,वहाँ अगस्त्यके शिष्यका पुण्यमय आश्रम है, जो वृक्षों और तृण आदिसे सम्पन्न एवं फल-मूलोंसे परिपूर्ण है। देवसम नामक पर्वत ही वह आश्रम है
tatra vṛkṣa-tṛṇa-adyaiś ca sampannaḥ phala-mūlavān | āśramo ’gastyasya śiṣyasya puṇyo devasamo giriḥ ||
ಧೌಮ್ಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಅಲ್ಲಿ ‘ದೇವಸಮ’ ಎಂಬ ಪರ್ವತದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಗಸ್ತ್ಯನ ಶಿಷ್ಯನ ಪುಣ್ಯ ಆಶ್ರಮವಿದೆ; ಅದು ಮರ-ಹುಲ್ಲು ಮೊದಲಾದವುಗಳಿಂದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಫಲ-ಮೂಲಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ.
धौम्य उवाच
