Pulastya’s Instruction
ब्रह्माणमधिगम्याथ शुचि: प्रयतमानस: । सर्वपापविशुद्धात्मा ब्रह्मलोक॑ प्रपद्यते
brahmāṇam adhigamyātha śuciḥ prayatamānasaḥ | sarvapāpaviśuddhātmā brahmalokaṃ prapadyate ||
ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನನ್ನು ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿ, ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿ ನಿಯಮಿತ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದಿರುವವನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದ ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಹೀಗೆ ವಿಶುದ್ಧಾತ್ಮನಾಗಿ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.
घुलस्त्य उवाच
Purity and disciplined mind are presented as the ethical prerequisites for spiritual ascent: by approaching the highest divine (Brahmā) with inner cleanliness and mental restraint, one becomes free from sin and attains Brahmaloka.
The speaker states a doctrinal conclusion: the seeker who approaches Brahmā in a state of purity and mental control becomes purified of all wrongdoing and reaches Brahmā’s realm, emphasizing the fruit of disciplined spiritual practice.
