Pulastya’s Instruction
शालिहोगत्रस्य तीर्थे च शालिसूर्ये यथाविधि । स््नात्वा नरवरश्रेष्ठ गोसहस्रफलं लभेत्,नरश्रेष्ठ शालिहोत्रके शालिसूर्य नामक तीर्थमें विधिपूर्वक स्नान करके मनुष्य सहस्र गोदानका फल पाता है
śālihotrasya tīrthe ca śālisūrye yathāvidhi | snātvā naravaraśreṣṭha gosahasraphalaṁ labhet ||
ಘೂಲಸ್ತ್ಯನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—“ನರಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನೇ! ಶಾಲಿಹೋತ್ರನ ತೀರ್ಥವಾದ ‘ಶಾಲಿಸೂರ್ಯ’ ಎಂಬ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಧಿಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿದವನು ಸಾವಿರ ಗೋ ದಾನದ ಫಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದ ಪುಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.”
