नलस्य पुष्करजयो द्यूते
Nala’s Victory over Puṣkara in the Dice-Game
सचतंकक्षमयामास हेतुभिरद्धिसम्मित: । स सत्कृतो महीपालो नैषध॑ं विस्मितानन:
sa cataṅkakṣamayāmāsa hetubhir addhisammitaḥ | sa satkṛto mahīpālo naiṣadhaṁ vismitānanaḥ ||
ಬೃಹದಶ್ವನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಸಮ್ಯಕ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುಚಿಂತಿತ ಕಾರಣಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನು ಚತಂಕನನ್ನು ಶಮನಗೊಳಿಸಿದನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಸತ್ಕೃತನಾದ ನಿಷಧರಾಜನು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಮುಖನಾಗಿ ನಿಂತನು.
