एवं तया यथोक्तो वै गत्वा राजानमब्रवीत् | ऋतुपर्ण महाराज सुदेवो ब्राह्मणस्तदा,महाराज! दमयन्तीके इस प्रकार बतानेपर सुदेव ब्राह्मणने राजा ऋतुपर्णके पास जाकर वही बात कही
evaṃ tayā yathokto vai gatvā rājānam abravīt | ṛtuparṇa mahārāja sudevo brāhmaṇas tadā ||
ದಮಯಂತಿ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ನಿಖರವಾಗಿ ಸೂಚನೆ ಪಡೆದು ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಸುದೇವನು ರಾಜನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ‘ಮಹಾರಾಜ ಋತುಪರ್ಣ’ ಎಂದು ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ಸಂಬೋಧಿಸಿ, ಆ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಯಥಾವತ್ತಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು.
