Rightly pursued effort—especially disciplined striving aligned with dharma—bears fruit, and when power (like divine weapons) is gained through legitimate means and divine sanction, it should culminate in inner steadiness and a sense of fulfilled duty rather than mere pride.
Vaiśampāyana reports that Arjuna has successfully received divine weapons from the gods. As a result, Arjuna feels honored and deeply satisfied, considering his mission accomplished and his aspirations fully met.
