Transliteration

bhava uvāca—dadāmi te ’stram dayitam ahaṃ pāśupataṃ vibho | samartho dhāraṇe mokṣe saṃhāre cāsi pāṇḍava ||

Translation

ಭವನು (ಮಹಾದೇವನು) ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಹೇ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿ ಪಾಂಡವನೇ! ನನ್ನ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಿಯವಾದ ಪಾಶುಪತ ಅಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಹೇ ವಿಭೋ, ನೀನು ಇದನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಲು, ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸಲು (ಮೋಕ್ಷ) ಮತ್ತು ಉಪಸಂಹರಿಸಲು ಸಮರ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದೀಯೆ.
