तस्य तद् वचन श्रुत्वा किरातस्यार्जुनस्तदा । रोषमाहारयामास ताडयामास चेषुभि:,किरातकी वह बात सुनकर उस समय अर्जुनको बड़ा क्रोध हुआ। उन्होंने बाणोंसे उसपर प्रहार आरम्भ किया
tasya tad vacanaṃ śrutvā kirātasya arjunas tadā | roṣam āhārayāmāsa tāḍayāmāsa ceṣubhiḥ ||
ಕಿರಾತನ ಆ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅಂದು ಅರ್ಜುನನು ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಉರಿದನು. ಅವನು ರೋಷವನ್ನು ಒಳಗೆ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಬಾಣಗಳ ಮಳೆಯಂತೆ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಹಾರ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದನು।
