इति लोके निर्वचनं पुरश्चरति भारत । अपि चैता: स्त्रियो बाला: स्वाध्यायमधिकुर्वते,“भारत! लोकमें यह उपर्युक्त सत्य प्रवाद पहलेसे चला आ रहा है । स्त्रियाँ और बच्चेतक इसे नित्य किये जानेवाले पाठकी तरह दुहराते रहते हैं
iti loke nirvacanaṃ puraścarati bhārata | api caitāḥ striyo bālāḥ svādhyāyam adhikurvate ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಓ ಭಾರತ! ಈ ಲೋಕಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಮಾತು ಬಹುಕಾಲದಿಂದಲೇ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಇದನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯಪಾಠದಂತೆ ಪುನಃಪುನಃ ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ।
