वनपर्वकी सम्पूर्ण शलोक-संख्या १२२७६॥- #++ २० ()) #अअज अप वनपव्व-श्रवण-महिमा इदमारण्यकं श्रुत्वा महापापै: प्रमुच्यते । अधनो धनमाप्रोति पुत्रपौत्रसमन्वित:,इस वनपर्वको सुनकर मनुष्य बड़े-बड़े पापोंसे मुक्त हो जाता है, निर्धन धन पाता है और पुत्र-पौत्रोंसे सम्पन्न होता है

Transliteration

idam āraṇyakaṃ śrutvā mahāpāpaiḥ pramucyate | adhano dhanam āpnoti putrapautrasamanvitaḥ ||

Translation

ಈ ಆರಣ್ಯಕ (ವನಪರ್ವ)ವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದವನು ಮಹಾಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಮುಕ್ತನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ದರಿದ್ರನು ಧನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಪುತ್ರಪೌತ್ರಸಹಿತನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
