तत्र सा ब्राह्म॒णं गत्वा पृथा शौचपरा सती । विधिवत् परिचारह॑ देववत् पर्यतोषयत्,बाहर-भीतरसे शुद्ध हो सती-साध्वी पृथा उन पूजनीय ब्राह्मणके पास जाकर देवताकी भाँति उनकी विधिवत् आराधना करके उन्हें पूर्णरूपसे संतुष्ट रखने लगी
tatra sā brāhmaṇaṃ gatvā pṛthā śaucaparā satī | vidhivat paricāraṃ devavat paryatoṣayat ||
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಶೌಚಪರಾಯಣಳಾದ ಸತೀ ಪೃಥಾ ಆ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ದೇವನಂತೆ ವಿಧಿವತ್ತಾಗಿ ಪರಿಚರಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸಿದಳು।
