जीवतां कुरुते कार्य पिता माता सुतास्तथा । ये चान्ये बान्धवा: केचिल्लोके5स्मिन् पुरुषर्षभ,पुरुषरत्न! पिता, माता, पुत्र तथा और जो कोई भी भाई-बन्धु इस लोकमें हैं, वे सब जीवित पुरुषोंसे ही अपने प्रयोजनकी सिद्धि करते हैं
jīvatāṃ kurute kāryaḥ pitā mātā sutās tathā | ye cānye bāndhavāḥ kecil loke 'smin puruṣarṣabha ||
ಪುರುಷರ್ಷಭನೇ! ಈ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದೆ, ತಾಯಿ, ಪುತ್ರರು, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇತರ ಬಂಧುಗಳು—ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಜೀವಂತಿರುವವರಿಂದಲೇ ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಸಿದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ।
