मार्कण्डेय उवाच तमुवाच पिता भूय: प्रहृष्टो भरतर्षभ । गच्छायो ध्यां प्रशाधीति राम॑ रक्तान्तलोचनम्‌

Transliteration

Mārkaṇḍeya uvāca: tam uvāca pitā bhūyaḥ prahṛṣṭo bharatarṣabha | gacchāyodhyāṃ praśādhīti rāmaṃ raktāntalocanam ||

Translation

ಮಾರ್ಕಂಡೇಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಅಾಗ ಅವನ ತಂದೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಹರ್ಷದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ಆ ಭರತಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನಿಗೆ—“ಅಯೋಧ್ಯೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲನೆ ವಹಿಸು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಮೂಲೆಗಳು ಭಾವೋದ್ವೇಗದಿಂದ ಕೆಂಪಾಗಿದ್ದ ರಾಮನನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ನುಡಿದರು।
