असौ मन्ये न जानीते समयप्रतिपालनम् । कृतोपकारं मां नूनमवमन्याल्पया धिया,“मैं तो समझता हूँ, वह अपनी की हुई प्रतिज्ञाका पालन करना नहीं जानता और अपनी मन्दबुद्धिके कारण मुझ उपकारीकी भी वह निश्चय ही अवहेलना कर रहा है
asau manye na jānīte samaya-pratipālanam | kṛtopakāraṃ māṃ nūnam avamanyālpayā dhiyā ||
ಅವನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡ ವಚನ-ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಾನು ಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅಲ್ಪಬುದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಉಪಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ ನನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಅವಮಾನಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ।
