Sāvitrī’s Dialogue with Yama and the Restoration of Satyavān

स्वप्ना हि सुमहाघोरा दृष्टा मेडनिष्टदर्शना: । विनाशायास्य दुर्बुद्धे: पौलस्त्यकुलघातिन:,(अविन्ध्यका संदेश सुनाकर फिर त्रिजटाने अपनी ओरसे कहा--) 'सखी! मैंने भी रातमें बड़े भयंकर स्वप्न देखे हैं, जो इस पुलस्त्यकुल-घातक दुर्बुद्धि रावणके विनाश एवं अनिष्टकी सूचना देनेवाले हैं

Transliteration

svapnā hi sumahāghorā dṛṣṭā me dāruṇadarśanāḥ | vināśāyāsya durbuddheḥ paulastyakulaghātinaḥ ||

Translation

ನಾನೂ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಭಯಂಕರ ಸ್ವಪ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ—ಅನಿಷ್ಟ ಸೂಚಿಸುವ ದರ್ಶನಗಳು—ಅವು ಆ ದುರ್ಬುದ್ಧಿ, ಪೌಲಸ್ತ್ಯಕುಲಘಾತಕನ ವಿನಾಶವನ್ನು ಮುನ್ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
