अङ्गददूतवाक्यं लङ्काप्राकारभेदनं च

सीमन्तिनीनां मुख्यायां विनिवृत्त: कथं भवान्‌ । एतां दृष्ट्वा स्त्रियो मेडन्या यथा शाखामृगस्त्रिय:

Transliteration

sīmāntinīnāṃ mukhyāyāṃ vinivṛttaḥ kathaṃ bhavān | etāṃ dṛṣṭvā striyo meḍanyā yathā śākhāmṛga-striyaḥ ||

Translation

ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—“ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗ್ರಗಣ್ಯಳಾದ ಅವಳಿಂದ ನೀನು ಹೇಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿದೆ? ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡ ಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಮೇಡದೇಶದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದಿಂದ ಅವಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಎಳೆಯಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ—ಮರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಮೃಗಗಳ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆ।”
