ततः सुतुमुलं युद्ध गन्धर्वाणां तरस्विनाम् । बभूव भीमवेगानां पाण्डवानां च भारत
tataḥ sutumulaṃ yuddhaṃ gandharvāṇāṃ tarasvinām | babhūva bhīmavegānāṃ pāṇḍavānāṃ ca bhārata ||
ನಂತರ, ಓ ಭಾರತ! ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿಗಳಾದ ಗಂಧರ್ವರು ಮತ್ತು ಭೀಮವೇಗದ ಪಾಂಡವರ ನಡುವೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಘೋರವಾದ, ಗದ್ದಲಮಯ ಯುದ್ಧವು ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು।
