उत्पपात दिवं शुभ्र॑ कालेनाभिप्रचोदितम् । ते पिबन्त इवाकाशं त्रासयन्तश्नराचरान्
utpapāta divaṁ śubhraḥ kālenābhipracoditam | te pibanta ivākāśaṁ trāsayantaś carācarān |
ಮಾರ್ಕಂಡೇಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಕಾಲದ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆ ಶುಭ್ರ ದೀಪ್ತಿಯುತವಾದುದು ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾರಿತು. ಅವರು ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನೇ ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಾ, ಚರಾಚರ ಎಲ್ಲ ಜೀವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಭಯಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
