मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The verse highlights an atmosphere of auspicious joy in a divine setting: harmony, art (music and dance), and collective gladness are presented as signs of a well-ordered, благоприятный (auspicious) moment—an implicit contrast to disorder, fear, and violence.
Mārkaṇḍeya describes a scene where Gandharvas and Apsarases dance, and the delighted beings present create a loud, celebratory clamour—indicating a festive or heavenly gathering.
