आरण्यकपर्वणि अध्यायः २१६ — इन्द्र-स्कन्द-संमुखता वज्रप्रहारश्च

अजानता कृतमिदं मयेत्यहमथाब्रुवम् क्षन्तुमहसि मे सर्वमिति चोक्तो मया मुनि:,मैंने साहस करके उन मुनीश्वरसे कहा--“भगवन्! अनजानमें मेरे द्वारा यह अपराध बन गया है। अतः आप यह सब क्षमा कर दें”
ajānatā kṛtam idaṃ mayeti aham athābruvam | kṣantum arhasi me sarvam iti cokto mayā muniḥ ||
ಆಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದೆ—“ಇದು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಅರಿಯದೆ ನಡೆದಿತು; ಭಗವನ್, ನನ್ನ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ತಪ್ಪನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿರಿ.” ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಮುನಿಯನ್ನು ವಿನಯದಿಂದ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡೆ.
